This coming Sunday, September 30th, we are holding an all-a-cappella
concert to benefit the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Similar
concerts are being held simultaneously in 20 cities across North
America, starting with the national anthem being sung at exactly the
same time in each city. Because this is a nationwide event, we are
calling it "Voices Across America".
For the Seattle area, our benefit concert is being held at Crossroads Shopping Center in Bellevue, starting at precisely 12 noon! Groups performing include Kickshaw, III of a Kind (from the Philippines), ACappellaGo, Kryptonite, and others! Please join us for this exciting afternoon of a cappella music in all of its forms! Bring your friends! The concert is free, and there will be a Red Cross volunteer on hand to accept your generous donations. The Crossroads Shopping Center is at the corner of N.E. 8th Street and 156th Ave N.E. in Bellevue. The stage is at the center of the mall, near the food court. Concert Schedule 12:00 Groove for Thought 12:40 ACappella-Go! 1:05 Kryptonite 1:30 III of a Kind 2:00 The Baudboys 2:20 Kickshaw
The group III of a Kind, from the Philippines, are currently on a tour of the United States, and it is pure providence that they are in the Seattle area at just the right time to lend their voices to our cause! If you are unable to make it to our Sunday event to hear them, they also have performances in the Seattle area on Friday and Saturday. For more information, go to http://threeinseattle.tripod.com/.
