Local A Cappella Groups Here is a list of some of the small, one-voice-per-part groups found in our part of the country. It's not intended to be a definitive list, by any means, and if you know of any groups that need to be included here, please let us know. Also, many of these groups have recorded albums that are available directly from them (see individual pages) or at their concerts. For
larger choral groups, see the list of choral groups in the Puget Sound area. The Baudboys - Microsoft's resident 8 member, all male a cappella group. Bodacious Ladyhood - A hilarious women's trio. The Coats - The 1994 National Champions of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival Groove For Thought - The 2005 National Champions of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival. Just 4 Kicks - These four men are musicians from all over the West Coast. Kirk Marcy, is the director of Soundsation, the great vocal jazz group at Edmonds Community College in Edmonds, Washington and Vijay Singh teaches at CentralWashington University. KlapaDooWapella - A male quartet whose mission it is to keep the Klapa tradition alive Mockingbird - A women's trio. m•pact - The 1996 National Champions of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival, now based in Los Angeles, CA. Rescue - Male Christian quartet
There is one group at the University of Washington in Seattle, a mixed group called Unleashed. There are 2 groups at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA -- a female group called The Sirens of Swank and a male group by the name of The Testostertones.
